April 2016: WH Maverick has been paddocked with Chance (young TB) to give him a calming influence- as Chance is a wind-sucker. Both boys are lucky enough to be in the process of being adopted by a loving young couple, who will move both boys onto their new property once purchased. Couple, Natasha and Ben fell in love with the two boys at our 2016 TWHEW open day.
January 11th 2015: The ever friendly and keen WH Maverick - this young boy is such a delight. He always wants to know what we are up to, whether we have feed offerings or not, and loves nothing better than getting smooched over. Photo credit - Jadae Bischof.
October 19th 2014: And gorgeous WH Maverick, looking spunky, & still ever so talkative!
October 13th 2014: WH Maverick has put on great weight, & is such a chatty, loveky boy. We may get further assessment of his pelvis/hip area, as there may be long term issues with how it healed.

September 1st 2014: WH Maverick says THANK YOU dear Joy Martin, for his scrumptious warm rug and neck rug! He wasn't too sure about a rug, but got used to it in about 10 second flat! Glad we are super strict about quarantine- he may have lice, & has a slight nasal discharge, which we are keeping an eye on.
August 30th 2014: Yayyyyy! Welcome to WH Maverick, with huge thanks to the gorgeous Dave of Melbourne Horse Transport, & Eliza too! So happy to finally meet this boy, who has alteady made it known he likes scratchies on his neck!
August 27th 2014: Hoping we are not mozzing ourselves! You may remember dear WHMaverick, the lovely boy bought by a lady at Echuca Horse Sales - but veterinary assessment, felt he had suffered a broken hip at some stage, which had not healed very well. We are lucky enough for him to be coming to us, when he eventually loads! So far, one loving volunteer (thank you Megan Conn), and two horse transport companies (thank you to both Carmody's and Prestige), have tried to convince him to 'come on board'! Everyone involved has been so mindful of his hips. Eliza, who is currently still caring for him, has found a friend, who is going to work with Maverick, this Friday, and hopefully bring him to us! He will be welcomed with open arms! Thanks to Eliza, for accommodating and feeding this dear boy, as well as having organised a great chiro to attend. The wonderful news, is that he may come right with correct treatments, and the choir felt he has not had a broken hip, just substantial muscle damage, which may be able to be righted.
